This roadmap shows a focused path to become job‑ready in AWS and DevOps using 1‑month AWS core training plus supporting skills in Terraform, Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins and AI, followed by projects and interviews.
Step 1 – AWS Cloud Fundamentals (1 Month)
- AWS core services: EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, RDS and ELB/ALB.
- Designing secure VPCs, subnets, routing and security groups.
- Hosting a 2‑tier application on AWS with database backend.
- Cost‑optimised usage with AWS Free Tier and budgets.
- Basic monitoring using CloudWatch metrics, logs and alarms.
Step 2 – Terraform on AWS (2 Weeks)
- Terraform basics: providers, resources, variables and outputs.
- Creating AWS VPC, EC2, security groups and S3 using IaC.
- Managing state, backends and remote state in S3.
- Using modules and workspaces for dev / test / prod.
Step 3 – Linux for DevOps (1 Week)
- Essential commands for files, permissions, users and services.
- Working with SSH, logs, systemd and basic troubleshooting.
- Shell scripting fundamentals for automation on servers.
Step 4 – Docker and Containerisation (2 Weeks)
- Building images with Dockerfiles and best practices.

- Deploying Dockerised apps into EKS or any managed cluster.

- Freestyle and pipeline jobs for build, test and deploy.
- CI/CD pipeline to build Docker images and deploy to K8s.
- Basic credential management and pipeline best practices.
